"Where Peter is, there the Church is." - Where Peter "fleeth" and stood "afar off" (Mt. 26.58) the Crucified? (I)

Good Shepherd Sunday

...He that is not the shepherd... fleeth: and the wolf catcheth and scattereth the sheep (Jn. 10.12).

Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ teaches us in today's Holy Gospel (Jn. 10-11-16) that the Bonus Pastor (the Good Shepherd) giveth His life for His sheep to snatch them "from the perils of endless death" (today's Collect). Giveth His life - the simple tense confirms our traditional Catholic teaching on the Sacred Sacrifice of the Mass: the Sacrifice on the Cross being renewed on our Apostolic altar (Heb. 13.10) but in an unbloody manner by the Bonus Pastor in fulfillment of His being the High Priest of the house of God... according to the order of Melchisedech [offering His Body and Blood under the form of consecrated bread and wine] (Heb. 10.21; 6.20); whereas, the pseudo-Mass in today's churches departs from it: "The Lord's Supper[/Banquet] or Mass IS the assembly or meeting of the People of God, met together [out of their sentiment of a 'religious' need; not anymore of God's convocation in Jesus Christ] with a priest presiding, to celebrate the MEMORIAL of the Lord" (Paul VI, "General Instructions," April 1969) "in loud... vernacular [vulgar/ordinary dialect]" (proposition condemned ex cathedra by Pope Pius VI in his Bull Auctorem Fidei).

Behold...

The Protestant Conciliar 'Pope' in an Episcopalian 'Communion Service' attire (cf., also our post "Desacralization") serving his idol ["I believe... not in a Catholic God. There is no such thing as a Catholic God," in L'Osservatore Romano, 2 Oct 2013] with the "New" Rite of 'Mass in Casa Santa Martha, Rome.
