Sixth Sunday after Pentecost

They will faint in the way...
(from the Holy Gospel, Mk. 8.1-9)

On this day, exactly twenty-five years ago, the Apocalyptic vision of an angel ascending from the rising of the sun, having the sign of the living God (7.2) and giving orders to four other angels to sign the servants of... God in their foreheads was fulfilled when Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre consecrated four priests as auxiliary bishops to perpetuate the traditional Catholic priesthood (for without traditional Catholic priests, the Traditional Latin Mass will "die the death": the continual Sacrifice shall be taken away, Dan. 12.11) and to administer the always valid Sacrament of Confirmation according to that Rite which the Church has received from the Apostles [that the angel having the sign of the living God and the four other angels were bishops, cf., our post The Wine of the Wrath of God]. To perpetuate the traditional Catholic priesthood - for the Second Vatican Council (1962-1965) called for the formation of Neo-Catholic priests, 'ecumenical priests' (cf., Part II of the Directory Concerning Ecumenical Matters: Ecumenism in Higher Education, "The Ecumenical Dimension of Religious and Theological Education," in A. Flannery [N.O.]-O.P., ed., Vatican Council II: The Conciliar and Post-Conciliar Documents, Vol. I); on Vatican II 'ecumenism', cf., the despcription, not definition, given by Pope John Paul II in our post "Our 'Great Reversal'", also, "Our Lady and the Disorientation of Rome", the 'ecumenism' of "no return [to the Catholic Church]" in "When Mary Comes... (III)", and "Upheaval: Russia's Errors Spreading from the Vatican". See also "At the Heart of the Catholic Crisis - the Priesthood".

In our post, "In virtue of our Apostolic authority...," yesterday we exposed how the irregularity in the form of Pope Benedict XVI's execution of his "Summorum Pontificum" - which, from the Catholic viewpoint, falsifies even the juridical position of our Traditional Latin Mass to be an "extraordinary form" - renders his "motu proprio" document to be actually an invalid "Act of the Holy See". The same with Pope Paul VI's "Missale Romanum" which, originally, only WISHED for the celebration of Bugnini's M[e]ss (cf., our post Obey God, rather than men). Now, two days after the episcopal consecrations performed by Abp. Lefebvre, the Vatican of 'ecumenical' orientation issued a document, "Ecclesia Dei", declaring that what the venerable Archbishop did - which was in all reality a surprising divine check on the mystery of iniquity (2 Thess. 2.7) which worketh its third attempt to subvert the Church from within by striking at the priesthood and the hierarchy all the way to her visible head (for it is written: I will strike the shepherd, Mt. 26.31; the Prophet Isaias foretold: the whole head is sick, 1.5) - earned for him, as well as for his auxiliary bishops, the penalty of 'automatic excommunication'.

In the said "Ecclesia Dei" document, it is worth noting how Pope John Paul II used the phrase "Apostolic authority." He did not invoke it in materially endorsing the declaration of 'excommunication' by the Congregation of the Bishops but only on the establishment of a Commission that would work for the 'full' communion or integration of the venerable Archbishop and of those affiliated to him and his work in the "New 'Ecclesial Reality'" (Card. Hoyos, former head of the "Ecclesia Dei" Commission to the Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter) - that is, the New 'Catholic Church' or the "Novus Ordo". And how he 'anomalously' invoked it: "by virtue of my [instead of "our"] Apostolic authority, I [instead of "We"] decree..." That is not how a Sovereign Pontiff formally does it and that is not how a document is made a valid "Act of the Holy See". Obviously, the Commission would be preposterous for there was in reality no formal schism punishable with "ipso facto" excommunication insisted on by an overwhelming number of infected and bastard members of the episcopate (cf., our post "The Year 1929"). Another revealing instance of an  scripted text presented to a figure-head to be rubber-stamped on (cf., Pope John Paul II against the scripted text of the 'last Consecration' to the Immaculate Heart: "When Mary Comes... III").

Indeed, with Archbishop Lefebvre's "Operation Survival", the Lord is the strength of His people, and the protector of the salvation of His annointed (from the "Introit" of today's Mass, Ps. 27.8,9,1).

Feast of Sts. Peter and Paul

When the Sovereign Pontiff speaks "ex cathedra,"* it is Our Lord speaking in a solemn manner: "he who heareth you, heareth Me" (Lk. 10.16). Pope St. Pius V decreed "ex cathedra" that the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass celebrated in Latin according to its Traditional Rite (our Traditional Latin Mass) is "the NORM [therefore "THE ORDINARY form" throughout the Western Church - the so-called "Roman Rite"; distinct from the Oriental Rite or the Eastern Church] IN PERPETUITY" (Papal Bull "Quo primum"). And when Our Lord speaks, He can never contradict Himself - just as there can never be contradiction in the Truth. But Pope Benedict XVI in his "Summorum Pontificum" speaks no longer of our Traditional Latin Mass but of the New 'Mass' - "a fabrication," according to the same PBXVI as Card. Ratzinger of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith (CDF), by a Freemason in ecclesiastical trapping (Annibale Bugnini) - to be the "ORDINARY FORM" [therefore THE NORM].
---
* Literally, "from the Chair," that is, from the Chair of St. Peter, cf., the Chair of Moses - referred to by Our Lord in Mt. 23.2 - on which the scribes and the Pharisees had sitten so that what they teach, pronounce, and ordain "ex cathedra" were to be obeyed though they were, generally, hypocrites and brood of vipers.
---

How do we solve the contradiction? Pope Benedict XVI spoke of the "fabricated liturgy" (the New 'Mass' that has been the norm since 1969) as "THE ORDINARY FORM" IN the "Novus Ordo" or the Neo-Catholic Church, NOT IN the Catholic Church bound as she is to observe the Bull "Quo primum" for all ages to come; for, if Catholic principle has it that the Mass is the foundation of the Church - and Martin Luther, the father of "Bible-only" sectarians, declared that to destroy the Church, it is necessary to destroy the Mass - it follows therefore that a New 'Catholic Church' must have a New 'Mass' for its foundation. PBXVI spoke not as the Sovereign Pontiff decreeing "ex cathedra" but as mere tiara*-less figure-head of a "New Ecclesiastical Reality" - one that "resembles the Church but was not the real thing," says Dr. Bella Dodd, ex-Secretary-General of the US Communist Party who converted to the Catholic Church in her voluminous testimony before the US Congress and in her lecture at the Fordham University in the late 1950s on the attempted subversion of the Church from within by infiltrated Masonic and Communist "Anti-Apostles" in "sheep's clothing" (cf., our post "The Year 1929"). Proof: he did not specifically claim that what he ordered was "in virtue of our Apostolic authority" - he knew that he would be contradicting the edict of Our Lord through Pope St. Pius V therefore he left out the said phrase. As such, his "Summorum Pontificum", which the Vatican of New Orientation published to be an 'Apostolic Letter' yet DEFECTIVE IN FORM, can not be considered as a valid, nay legitimate, "Actum Sanctae Sedis" (Act of the Holy See) - which must always be for the honor and glory of God and of His Church, and the salvation of souls.
---
*The tiara is that traditional crown the Pope wears as symbol of his sovereign office - that of Vicar of Christ the King holding dominion over all peoples and princes and kings of the earth, cf. Ps. 21.29. This Papal crown was surrendered by Pope Paul VI to the UN, cf., our post "The Great Tribulation".
---
The 'Conservatives' (the Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter or the FSSP, the Institute of Christ the King, and the other 'traditionalist' communities under the "Ecclesia Dei" Commission of the Vatican of New Orientation) and, now, the institutional SSPX all agree IN PRINCIPLE that the "fabricated liturgy" - Card. Ratzinger-turned-Pope Benedict XVI referring to the New M[e]ss of Bugnini that has become "the ordinary form" in parishes, 'seminaries' and 'convents' since 1969 - was valid and "legitimately promulgated[!]" No, the New M[e]ss was never "legitimately promulgated" - as the Superior General of the institutional SSPX now says to his priests in his March bulletin "Cor Unum" of March 2013: Pope Paul VI did not bind the Roman (Latin) Rite Church to this rite of worship of a Neo-Christ (cf., our posts "The Ultimate Delusion of Vatican II 'Catholicism'" and "Pope Francis Speaks of the New 'Gospel' of 'Universal Salvationism'") "in virtue of our Apostolic authority" but stated merely "We WISH ["volumus" in the original Latin] ...;" then the Vatican Press Bureau forgery in the translations of Pope Paul VI's "Missale Romanum": "In conclusion, we WISH to GIVE THE FORCE OF LAW to all that we have set forth concerning the New Missal" whereas, the original Latin document only states: "Concerning all that we have just set forth regarding the New Roman Missal, We are now PLEASED to end WITH A CONCLUSION" (cf., our post Obey God, rather than men).

Woe to him who gainsays his Maker! (Is. 45.9)

Pharisaic 'Justice'

+
J.M.J.

Fifth Sunday after Pentecost

Unless your justice abound more than that of the scribes and Pharisees, you shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven (from the Holy Gospel, Mt. 5.20-24).

This is a clear allusion to the New Law, the law of charity, given to us by the Lord and Savior Himself and surpassing the simple law of justice.

First, we cannot content ourselves with simply not doing harm to our neighbor; we must practice toward him a positive, fraternal charity. It is not enough "not to kill" in order to escape the judgment but whosoever is angry with his brother, shall be in danger of the judgment.

Second, it is useless to make an exterior display of goodness if this does not proceed from an upright conscience and a sincere heart. It does not suffice to avoid giving outward offence to our neighbor; we must avoid, or rather, repress our inner resentment. The Pharisees, with their materialistic interpretation of the law, had completely lost its spirit; they had forgotten that the eyes of the Lord are always upon us and that He sees our intentions as well as our acts. Anger and resentment that smoulder in our heart do not escape Him. At the same time, Our Lord asks great delicacy of us in all our exterior dealings with our neighbor. He demands that we avoid not only offensive acts but even words that might hurt another.

Feast of the Most Sacred Heart of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ

Eucharistic Miracle
Lanciano, Italy

After we have contemplated the Holy Eucharist - a gift crowning all the gifts of the love of Jesus for men - for eight days (the Octave of Corpus Christi ended yesterday), Holy Church now directs our consideration to the love of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, the source and cause of all His gifts. The same the Eucharistic Miracle of Lanciano, Italy directs us: Our Lord truly and really gives us His Flesh and the Flesh He gives us consists of the muscular tissue (myocardium) of His Most Sacred Heart!

The Eucharistic Heart of Jesus

The Holy Eucharist unites us to Christ directly; this physical union is the same for all who partake of His Body and Blood. However, it does not produce the same effects in everyone. This is so true that the Sacrament may even become a cause of damnation for those who approach it unworthily: Whosoever shall eat of This Bread or drink The Chalice of the Lord unworthily, says St. Paul, eateth and drinketh judgment to himself (1 Cor. 11.27-29). But even in those who receive worthily, the effects of the Holy Eucharist are different, for they are always proportioned to the excellence and perfection of one's interior dispositions.

Our Lord and Savior penetrates us, transforming us into Himself only in the measure that we place no obstacles in His way, and insofar as we are disposed to receive the special grace of the Holy Eucharist, the grace of "union with Christ." Although the physical union with Jesus offered us in Holy Communion is a tremendous gift, it is, nonetheless, directed to our spiritual union with Him and to our transformation in Him by love. The more perfect the dispositions with which we approach the Holy Altar, the more complete this union and transformation will be. These dispositions consist in preparing our heart for an ever greater union with Our Beloved, a union which requires conformity of aspirations, tastes, sentiments, and wills. How can we enjoy the visit of a friend and spend moments of sweet intimacy with him, moments of real union, if differences of desires, affections, delights, cares, sentiments, and will separate us? This, then, will be the best preparation for our Communion: to rid ourselves of everything in our life, no matte how trivial it may be, that might be in disagreement with the divine will, with the sentiments and dispositions of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus. Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus (Phil. 2.5): this must be the program of our remote preparation for Holy Communion.

In order that the Holy Eucharist may produce its full fruit in us and be the occasion of very close, intimate union with Our Beloved, it is not enough, as St. Augustine says, for us to eat His Body materially; we also need to eat It "spiritually," that is, our spirit must be well disposed and prepared to receive the Body of Christ, to let  itself be invaded and transformed by Christ. If when Our Beloved comes to us, He finds our heart, will, affections, delights, desires, cares, and sentiments entirely conformed to His own, nothing can prevent Him from giving Himself to us the most complete manner. His spirit, His life, His divinity will penetrate the innermost fibres of our being and transform us into Him. Then we shall be able to say in all truth with St. Paul: I live, now not I; but Christ liveth in me (Gal. 2.20).

When we receive Holy Communion, our heart must be enlarged by charity, so that it will be wide open for the coming of Jesus, and ready to let itself be penetrated and transformed by Him. In addition to the physical presence of Our Beloved and because of this Presence, each Communion brings us a new increase of grace and charity, but even this increase will be in proportion to our capacity for receiving it. If our heart is closed by selfishness and pride; if it is bound by attachment to creatures; or is engrossed by the material rewards, comforts, and delights the world has to offer and by secular affairs, it will be unable to make room for an increase of divine love, and the Beloved will be, so to speak, forced to lessen the outpouring of His charity and to diminish His gifts. Yes, in Holy Communion, the Beloved gives Himself completely - His entire Person as God AND Man - and He unites Himself entirely to us; but, if we do not give ourselves entirely to Him, He cannot wholly pour Himself into us, as a friend into the heart of a faithful friend.

"I will dwell in the midst of them..."

+
J.M.J.

Sunday within the Octave of Corpus Christi

I will dwell in the midst of them... and will be their God
(Ex. 25.8; 29.45).

This Sunday in the Neo-Catholic calendar is observed rather the Solemnity of Corpus Christi.

Traditional Catholic solemn celebration of the Feast: observed on a Thursday - it was on Holy Thursday did Our Lord fulfill His promise to give us the Living Bread That gives eternal life and fulfill also the figure of Old: the unbloody sacrifice by the Eternal High Priest according to the order of Melchisedech (Ps. 109.4, DRV) of the most holy of all the sacrifice", the Loaf of proposition (Lev. 24.9); honors only the Sacred Body - the honor to the Most Precious Blood is given in a separate Feast (July 1); Catholics on the streets BEND THEIR KNEES AND ADORE as GOD passes before them; in Rome, the Most Blessed Sacrament as the Sovereign King of Heaven and earth Who comes to dwell in the midst of the New Israel (cf., 3 K 6.13) is borne aloft while His Vicar, the Sovereign Pontiff, holds It kneeling down and adoring.

Whereas, the Neo-Catholic celebration: transferred to the following Sunday (except in Rome); celebrates both the consecrated bread and wine - the Feast of the Precious Blood abolished; and...

...the faithful STANDING - they may rhetorically claim that they still profess Jesus Christ to be true God but their neglect of kneeling in adoration before Him actually denies it! See how the New 'Mass' in the vernacular - ostensibly to make them UNDERSTAND the Catholic Religion - made them understand something else: "[a semblance] but NOT THE REAL THING..." (Dr. Bella Dodd, ex-Communist Secretary-General who renounced Communism and embraced the Catholic Faith, in our post "The Year 1929").

The Queen of Heaven "Cannot Remain Silent" - So Can't We Either!

+
J.M.J.

First Saturday of the Month

Pope John Paul II on why Our Immaculate Queen of Mercy came to Fatima in Portugal: "Can the Mother, Who with all the force of the love that She fosters in the Holy Spirit and Who DESIRES EVERYONE'S SALVATION, can She remain silent when SHE SEES THE VERY BASES OF HER CHILDREN'S SALVATION UNDERMINED? No, She cannot remain silent."

Our eternal salvation lies in our union with God. This consists our true and perfect happiness - the secure possession for all eternity of our supreme Good Who Is God alone ("Solo Dios basta!" - "God alone suffices!" as the Mother of Carmelite Reform, St. Teresa of Jesus, puts it). But this is undermined by rejection of, resistance to, or adulteration of the truths proposed by the Holy Church in her Faith for God said: I will espouse thee to Me in Faith (Osee 2.20) [cf., "Catechetical Instructions of St. Thomas Aquinas"].

Before Fatima, the Queen of Heaven spoke to Melanie Calvat and Maximin Giraud in France and what She said would never be nice to Catholics of the "New Orientation" of Vatican II who profess 'loyalty-to-the-Pope-no matter-what'*: "Rome will loose the Faith" (in the original 1879 edition of "Our Lady's Apocalypse: the Message of Our Lady of La Salette" published with the Imprimatur of the Bishop of Lecce). Again, in Fatima (1917): "[Not in Rome will] the dogma of the Faith... always be preserved, etc [here then follows the Third Part of the Great Secret which, logically, gives details also as to why the dogma of the Faith will not be always preserved in Rome starting in the 1960s]." And, finally (this was in the 1940s), in Her instruction to Sr. Lucia, C.D. to have the entire text of the Third Part of the Great Secret of Fatima revealed the earliest in 1960 - doubtless, to persuade the Holy Father in Rome to abandon his 'updating' of the Church through Vatican II (1962-1965) where wolves in sheep's clothing were granted their hour of victory (cf., Fr. Wiltgen, SVD, "The Rhine Flows Into the Tiber") adopting the "New Catholic Orientation" (an attempt to synthesize Catholic principles and the 1789 Masonic principles - reconciliation of two contradictories, cf., the marriage of 'godliness' and ungodliness in Neo-Catholicism in our post "Bad Romance" and the cohabitation of the true God of our Sacred Catholic Tradition with the idol of the New 'Catholic Theology' on a "Summorum Pontificum" table in our post "The Ultimate Delusion of Vatican II 'Catholicism'").

---

The Queen of Heaven however would never teach us disobedience or lead us to sedevacantism (cf, our post "Against Sedevacantism" Part I and Part II) in the face of our sick head (Is. 1.5) himself being responsible for this undermining of the Faith: "A sentiment of confusion... spreading... also with the most qualified, who exercise the greatest authority," admitted Pope Paul VI (Discourse of December 3, 1969), cf., our post "Our Lady and the Diabolical Campaign". When Peter fails and wanders far away from the foot of the Cross, there is Catholic Resistance.
